OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of exports of passenger cars by legal entities from Russia in 2015. According to the study, the export of Land Rover vehicles from the country was 1720 units, which is almost 15 times more than the year before.

The largest number of Land Rover vehicles, exported from Russia, has been sent to such countries as China (772 units), Germany (461 units), USA (140 units) and Finland (130 units). Mainly, they are off-road vehicles Range Rover and Ranger Rover Sport. In this case, statistics do not include data on exports to the Customs Union countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan).

As the head of the analysts department of "AUTOSTAT" agency, Andrei Toptun, noted, rapid growth of export of vehicles Land Rover from Russia is connected with the devaluation of the ruble, as a result the prices in dollar terms for them are significantly more profitable here than in other countries.

Recall that at the end of 2015 sales of Land Rover vehicles in Russia were 11,605 units, by showing a fall of 45% by 2014.
