OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank won several categories at the Banking Sector awards.

Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, was named banker of the year. Andrey Khlyzov, Senior Vice President of Sberbank, took first place in the category "IT Chief". The "Implementation of the Year" award went to Sberbank's "Centralisation 2.0" programme.

In addition, Sberbank's digital services won two awards. Sberbank Online for iOS and Android won Usability Lab's special award "Positive User Experience: Mobile Bank Applications". Kaspersky Lab and Sberbank came first in the category "Information Security" for creating the world's first virus-protected financial app (Sberbank Online for Android).

The Banking Sector awards were founded in 2012 by Banking Review magazine. The goal of the awards is to find innovative approaches to banking instruments and bring them to the attention of the banking community. The winners are determined by an expert jury that includes several dozen industry experts.
