OREANDA-NEWS. December 2015 marks 40 years since the beginning of the "SUEK-Khakassia" enrichment plant operations. On the eve of this momentous event the miners fulfilled their annual plan of enriching of 6.85 million tons of coal before the year ended.

- Our nerichers have adequately prepared to celebrate the anniversary - says Alexey Kilin, the Executive Director of "SUEK-Khakassia". - Our focus on the safe and efficient operations is realized by every working shift on every plot and by every employee which helps us maintain high growth in performance. In 2002, when the factory became part of "SUEK", the annual processing volume of the rock mass was less than 2 million tonnes. It is easy to calculate that over the years the volume of production at the processing plant has more than tripled.

In September 2015 members of the Board of Directors of JSC "SUEK", led by the principal shareholder Andrey Melnichenko, familiarized themselves with "SUEK-Khakassia" production processes as well assessed its potential for further development of coal enrichment facilities. It is expected that the chernogorsk enrichers will complete the year with over 7 million tons as a result.
