“The reason for the recall of vehicles is a possible malfunction of the pyrotechnic cartridge of a smokeless gas generator (SPI2) in the passenger airbag”, the department said. A malfunction can cause the airbag to malfunction. Owners of vehicles subject to recall will be informed by telephone or by letter. In addition, the owner can independently verify the VIN number of the car with the list of VIN numbers published on the Rosstandart website. Repairing a defect for car owners will be free.

This isn't the first review of cars in Russia Nissan Note and Nissan Tiida. So, in December 2017, 127,738 vehicles manufactured between August 30, 2008 and August 1, 2014 fell under review.
