OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, and the Reach for Change foundation are taking part in the international #GivingTuesday movement that will first take place in Russia on 29 November. This day the company’s subscribers will join the massive charity marathon and help businessmen that want to change lives of children and adolescents for the best.

The International Day of Charity is held in 71 countries on the last Tuesday of November. This year Russia has joined the #GivingTuesday movement. The Reach for Change foundation, Tele2’s partner, has become one of the promoters of this initiative in the country. The move is contributing to more active and efficient engagement of society in charity.

Tele2 and the Reach for Change foundation are calling on all those willing to join the movement and support social entrepreneurs who implement the projects. Some ideas are seeking to create additional education and leisure opportunities for children living in small residential areas. Most of the candidates’ projects are dedicated to support and rehabilitation of children with special needs.

As a part of the #GivingTuesday charity movement, anyone may make a monthly donation to the Reach for Change foundation at 100 rubles or more. All donated funds will be used to support social entrepreneurs.

Tele2 subscribers also have an opportunity to take part in the event by sending an SMS. It is just necessary to send an SMS with a word NAVSTRECHU to 7522 and write donated sum preceded by a space. A minimum payment totals 10 rubles whereas a maximum donation may equal 5 thou per day.
