OREANDA-NEWS. Magellan Midstream Partners was working to recover gasoline blended with too much ethanol and distributed to retailers near Houston, Texas.

An equipment problem at the rack of the East Houston distribution terminal added more ethanol than intended on 7 and 8 September, according to a company statement.

The equipment was addressed and the terminal has resumed normal operations, according to the company. Magellan added testing measures to prevent similar issues in the future, the company said.
