OREANDA-NEWSTransneft received an appeal from Gomeltransneft Druzhba about an extraordinary increase in the oil transit tariff from August 1 to 21.7%, but sees no reason for that. This was reported to journalists by the official representative of "Transneft" Igor Demin.

"We received an appeal from Gomeltransneft Druzhba about an extraordinary tariff increase. I would like to note right away that it actually represents the third attempt in 2019 to change the situation with tariffs for oil transportation services through trunk pipelines. As for the circulation of July 1, 2019 year, then today there are no data on the total data on the size of the additional revenue received from Transneft for the replacement operations, as well as the approved schedule for the transportation of oil for the fourth quarter of 2019. This is makes it impossible to make a correct assessment of the "lost revenues" in 2019 and to agree on a fair amount of the tariff increase",- he said.

Demin noted that Transneft didn't consider it possible "to agree on a proposal to increase the tariffs of Gomeltransneft Druzhba by 21.7% from August 1, 2019, about which the Belarusian colleagues were informed". Thus, in his words, in accordance with the regulations, the issue of considering the unplanned increase in tariffs of Gomeltransoil Druzhba goes to the level of consideration of the authorized bodies of Belarus and Russia in the field of tariff regulation.

The situation with the export of contaminated Russian oil for export is coming to an end. Previously, Belarus, Russia, Poland and Ukraine agreed on a technological solution that will eliminate the consequences of the failure. In addition, the parties began checking to find the perpetrators. The result has already been a criminal case and the detention of four people.
