BMC Opens Doors to New Customer Support Center in Latin America
Historically, BMC supported its customers with only English language service and support. As Latin America is a very strategic region to BMC globally, the company is expanding its offerings to include services and support in Portuguese and Spanish. The center will also be able to work with line of business executives offering a higher touch business model.
"By opening up this center, not only will we now provide a higher level of support for customers, but it allows us the opportunity to invest economically in the region, establishing real-estate in Guadalajara as well as attracting new talent which will ultimately increase BMC's Latin America workforce by 20 percent," said Jason Andrew, senior vice president, Americas at BMC. "In addition, it takes our services up a notch by delivering a better quality service, customized and tailored to the unique requirements of our customers and going beyond IT and connecting us closer to the business."
To lead the new operation, BMC will draw on the experience of Ra?l Mendoza, head of Customer Service Center for Latin America.
"The new center opens significant growth opportunities for BMC in an economy that currently has around five million companies that are looking to leverage digital technology as a competitive weapon," said Ra?l Mendoza, head of BMC's Customer Service Center for Latin America. "The center will initially offer level one support in local languages, but we will quickly scale to include additional services such as consulting, inside sales, and other resources to support our customers' success."
BMC also recently announced it is tripling its investment in the Latin America channel ecosystem where BMC is aligning partners with our direct sales teams and ensuring partners have access to new booking, cross-sell and expansion opportunities to help grow their business.
