July 14, 2016.  Burson-Marsteller, a leading global strategic communications and public relations firm, today announced two new appointments to its senior leadership team in Shanghai – Rebecca Chiou as Senior Director of Sports Marketing and Branding, and Chris Luan as Director of Healthcare. Both Chiou and Luan report to Candice Yeo, Market Leader & Managing Director, Burson-Marsteller Shanghai.

With over 15 years of integrated marketing experience in both China and the U.S., Chiou brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to Burson-Marsteller. Most recently, she was a Director at DeVries Global in Beijing where she was responsible for a broad range of clients across the consumer goods sector, specializing in sports marketing and large-scale event management for clients such as adidas, SWATCH, Proctor & Gamble, KOLON SPORT and New Balance.

Luan joins Burson-Marsteller from APCO Worldwide where she worked with leading healthcare companies including GSK, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi on consumer education, perception change, brand reputation management, issues handling and internal communications programs.
