Google to host indie game developers conference in SF in September
OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2016. If you're an indie game developer looking for more exposure for your game or just wanting to hang with ilk, Google is planning a get-together you might be interested in.
The web giant will host a Google Play Indie Games Festival in San Francisco on September 24, Google Play said Thursday. The event, which is free, will give developers a chance to showcase their games to the public, network, and win prizes such as Tango devices, tickets to Google I/O 2017, and even ad campaign support from Google.
Developers interested in showcasing their games can submit them to the festival until August 14. Only games published or due to be published during 2016 by developers with 15 or fewer full-time employees are eligible. Those games chosen to be showcased at Terra Gallery event will be announced at the end of August.
