OREANDA-NEWS. Corporate sales of passenger cars in Russia are growing, while the whole market continues to fall. This is the conclusion of analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" was made after the related study.

According to the study, by the results of 8 months of 2016 the volume of passenger car market for corporate clients in Russia was 102.3 thousand units, which is more by 2.2% than in the same period of a year ago (100.1 thousand units). Thus, the share of corporate sales in the country was 13% of the total market for new cars.

The largest share of corporate sales belongs to the domestic brand LADA - almost 12%. In quantitative terms, it corresponds to 12.2 thousand cars – more by 1.1% than for the first 8 months 2015. The second place is occupied by the Japanese Toyota (9,3 thousand units; + 13.9%), which is equivalent to the share of slightly more than 9%. The third position is occupied by German Volkswagen (8,6 thousand units; + 22.2%) with a share equal to 8,4%.
