Britain Announced the Start of an Experiment to Introduce a Four-Day Week
The researchers invite businesses to enter the program that agree to the terms of the program within six months, after which the productive productivity and results of these companies will be compared with the control group.
"The 4-day workweek challenges the current work model and helps companies move from simply measuring how long people are 'at work' to focusing more on products," explained Joe O'Connor of 4 Day Week Global. helping to organize the program.
Previously, the working week for civil servants was reduced in the emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Since the formation of the UAE in 1971, the work week has been originally six days with one day off on Friday. In 1999, a day off on Thursday was added, and in 2006, Friday and Saturday became days off.
In Belgium they announced a general transition to a four-day work week, but there will not be a reduction in the total number of working hours. The Belgian version of the reduction of the working week differs from other countries, since in Belgium there is no reduction in the total working time of the duration of work. It is assumed that people will now work 9.5 hours a day.
