OREANDA-NEWS. Forbes magazine published a rating of the most profitable Russian franchises. The top 30 was divided into groups depending on the amount of investment in one franchise point (5–25 million, 1–5 million and less than 1 million roubles).

According to experts, Russian franchising is far ahead of the country’s whole economy, because in 2018 franchising market grew by almost 20 %. Now there are about 2,000 franchises in Russia. This number is almost 500 more than a year earlier. Boris Nuraliev, the founder of 1C, the largest franchisor in Russia, noted that in 10 years, the total number of registered franchisees has increased more than 10 times.

According to the Forbes publication, one of the largest segments represented in franchising is catering. The Russian Franchise Association estimated its share about 33 %. There is also a boom in educational and developmental franchises. This year, the leaders in all three groups of the rating are projects for children and teenagers. Wholly there are seven “children’s franchises” in the rating. Sales of franchises began to grow in private schools, kindergartens, and sports sections.

The first place in the rating was given to a network of kindergartens Sun School (it was estimated that with an investment of 9.3 million roubles, the annual receipt will be 17.3 million rubles, and the annual profit will be 5.9 million rubles).

A network of restaurants Burger Club was placed second (investing 5 million roubles one can get 39.9 million roubles of annual receipt, and 5.1 million roubles of annual profit).

The third is a car service stations network Vilgud (respectively, 5 million roubles, 41.8 million roubles, and 6.3 million roubles).
