OREANDA-NEWS  The Lamoda online platform plans to open Lamoda Sport offline stores in more than 20 Russian cities in 2024, the company's press service told Interfax.

This week Lamoda opened a store in Krasnodar, the first in the south of the Russian Federation. The company plans to open outlets in most major cities of the Krasnodar Territory this year.

As reported, the development of the Lamoda Sport retail sports goods chain started in mid-December 2023 with the opening of the first two outlets in Moscow and Mytishchi. It was reported that the opening of an outlet in St. Petersburg is planned in the near future.

Previously, the company announced plans to create about 300 stores within three years. Some of the stores will be located on the site of the closed Adidas outlets.

Lamoda is an online platform that operates in Russia and the CIS, specializing in the sale of clothing and shoes. The company was founded in 2011, from 2014 to 2022 it was part of the Global Fashion Group. Since December 2022, it has been owned by the owner of the Stockmann department store chain in the Russian Federation, Yakov Panchenko, through LM Holding JSC.
