OREANDA-NEWS The number of Russian companies presenting their products on the Turkish Trendyol platform has grown from one to ten through the agro-industrial complex demonstration and tasting pavilion, opened in 2023, according to the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF).

"This allowed 38 new product positions to be placed on the platform, attracting more than 160 million visits per month, including baby food, cereals, snacks, sauces and drinks," the message says.

In addition, the products of five domestic manufacturers (LLC SALYUT ALKO, LLC SORDIS, JSC Tatspirtprom, LLC Vesna, LLC Private Brewery Afanasy) are now available in such large Turkish retail chains as METRO, Carrefour and Shell.

With the start of sales on the popular Turkish Trendyol platform, Russian goods quickly gained the attention and recognition of customers. For example, the products of the company "Europroduct", in particular, sauces, show impressive results from the very first days, causing the need for an urgent increase in stocks due to record demand. A particularly warm welcome was received by baby food from the NGO "BIT", which received the approval of Turkish parents and caused stable high demand among local consumers. You can get acquainted with customer reviews of NGO "BIT" products on the YouTube channel Good Food Russia in Turkey.

Russian companies can submit applications for the placement of their agricultural products in pavilions in electronic form on the My Export platform. Currently, permanent demonstration and tasting pavilions of agricultural products are represented in six countries: China (Shanghai), UAE (Dubai), Vietnam (Hanoi), Egypt (Cairo), Turkey (Istanbul), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh). All products presented in the pavilions are placed in a multilingual product catalog.

As part of the program for the promotion of the agro-industrial complex pavilions, the REC conducts marketing campaigns in online and offline formats. They are aimed at popularizing Russian products, increasing demand for them and increasing sales in the target market.

"The main online channels of promotion in Turkey have become social networks and author's blogs, which directly affect the formation of a positive perception of Russian products among a wide range of local consumers. Due to the conducted advertising campaigns, the total coverage for 2023 amounted to more than 8.5 million views. In addition to online promotion, the program provides for the placement of samples of residents' products in a permanent tasting and demonstration pavilion in Istanbul, tasting events in retail and presentations for distributors, as well as financing listing on marketplaces and retail chains," said Alexey Solodov, Vice President of the REC.
