OREANDA-NEWS. News for holidaymakers in Croatia: Lufthansa is including Pula in its flight timetable for next summer, with two flights a week (Monday, Friday) from Frankfurt. The airline is thereby adding another destination to its summer programme for leisure travellers.

Along with Santiago de Compostela (as a double premiere from Frankfurt and Munich), Bordeaux, Shannon, Heringsdorf and Paderborn (all from Frankfurt) as well as Nantes from Munich, this brings to seven the number of new destinations included in Lufthansa’s summer flight timetable from March 2017. Lufthansa will also fly to Funchal in Portugal all year round from Frankfurt, and no longer just in the winter. Lufthansa flies its holiday passengers to the “best weeks of the year” with the service of a scheduled airline – whether it’s for a beach holiday, an expedition or a city break.

From 28 April, flight LH1478 will leave Frankfurt at 4.40 p.m. for Pula, reaching the Adriatic resort at 6.10 p.m. The return flight is scheduled for 6.55 p.m. from Pula. The 90-seater Bombardier CRJ900 with two classes lands at 8.30 p.m. in Frankfurt.

Pula is the biggest and oldest city in Istria and its eventful history makes it the tourist and cultural centre of the region. A mix of ancient Roman culture, beautiful swimming beaches and modern tourist facilities make it a magnet for visitors from all over the world. Lufthansa also flies to Pula from Munich.
