"Today, American Airlines shared with its employees the news that the company entered into a confidential agreement with Boeing to compensate for the financial losses that the company incurred due to the suspension of flights of the Boeing 737 MAX", the statement said. The company also announced that an additional amount of $ 30 million will be added to the profit distribution program, which will be divided between American Airlines employees in March 2020. Details of the agreement aren't given.

Earlier it was reported that the costs of the American aircraft manufacturer Boeing due to the crisis associated with the aircraft model 737 MAX, could amount to $ 15 billion in the first half of 2020.
