An updated domestic electric car was presented in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS The Russian company "Kama" has presented an updated domestic electric car "Atom". The automaker has published photos of the novelty and details about it in its Telegram channel.
According to the company, the changes made improve handling, as well as affect the power reserve of the electric car. The exterior of the car has been updated with wheel arches and rear-view mirrors. An active radiator grille has also been added. Atom also received a new spoiler, which gives the car a more dynamic and sporty look.
Engineers improved the headlight unit, and all the doors of the car received an electric drive. They will open with a button, but there are extendable handles on the front doors.
As the portal notes Autonews.ru At the presentation of Atom, the available serial colors of the electric car were also shown, named after elementary particles and basic units of measurement. These include the Pixel (gray), Hertz (purple), Quantum (blue), Quark (red), Atom (emerald blue), Photon (white) and Neutron (black).
The fact that Russia will take up the production of Mini Cooper analogues became known in April 2023. Then it was reported that four models are planned to be released in the line of Atom electric vehicles developed by Kama JSC of KAMAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin and billionaire Ruben Vardanyan: single-seat Delivery, two-seat Duo, four-seat Taxi and five-seat Family.
The booking of cars from the first batch was completed in October. The company reported that Atom had collected tens of thousands of pre-orders. The start of production of the new car is scheduled for mid-2025.
