OREANDA-NEWS. From now on, Lufthansa passengers on all long-haul flights can choose from an even wider and up-to-date selection of audiobooks. 60 titles to suit all tastes are now available on the inflight entertainment system– from those to help shorten the flight for kids such as the German children’s book ‘Das Sams’, to those which inspire with management tips from Fredmund Malik or even those which you can immerse yourself in such as Sebastian Fitzek’s ‘Passenger 23’. This is possible thanks to a cooperation with audible, the world’s leading provider of digital, spoken audio content. The offer covers all three categories of audiobook, which are available on all Lufthansa long-haul flights: Business, Entertainment and Kids. In each category, audible offers ten German-speaking titles as well as ten English titles to select from. The audiobooks can be listened to on board free of charge.

Something interesting for frequent flyers: After six months, the selection will be updated and 60 new titles will be added for the second half of the year as agreed for the collaboration.
