In January-June Nika-Tera Sea Terminal Has Handled 1 426.4 K Tons of Cargo
OREANDA-NEWS. Since the beginning of the year Nika-Tera terminal (part of Group DF) has carried out the transshipment of 1 million 426.4 K tons of cargo.
In January-June, in the total freight turnover the crops amounted to 46.94% (669.5 K tons.), mineral fertilizers – 16.60% (236.7 K tons.), bulk cargoes – 36,44% (519, 8 K tons), general cargo – 0.02% (0.3 K tons).
The transshipment of transit cargo for the period, compared to the same period last year, has decreased by 67% to 165.3 K tons. Turnover of export cargo has decreased by 17% to 1 million 161.6 K tons. Imports handling has decreased by 42% to 47.2 K tons. The freight handling has amounted to 3.7 K tons. Cabotage – 48.5 K tons.
In June 2016, Nika-Tera terminal has carried out the transshipment of 291.7 K tons of cargo. In the total turnover in June the handling of grain has amounted to 195.5 K tons, mineral fertilizers – 7,2 tons, bulk cargo – 89 K tons, and general cargo – 0,1 tons.
“Nika-Tera continues to modernize its technological capacity for the rapid response to customer needs on the basis of end-market demand. We have already tested successfully the system of grain drying and improvement, and are completing the works for putting into operation the air dehumidifier in one of the warehouses”, the Chairman of the company Alexandr Haydu said.
