OREANDA-NEWS  "AvtoVAZ" and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi signed with the government of the Russian Federation a special investment contract (SPIC), tentatively it happened at the end of last year, told reporters the Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov.

"Imprisoned. I may be wrong about the date, but this is the end of 2018. The scale of investments — 70 billion rubles  —  has been recorded there, we talked with the leadership of AVTOVAZ, we are in close contact... After all, we estimate the possible volume of investments to 200 billion rubles. This 4.5 thousand jobs can be created in addition, and for the cycle to reach revenue of 5 trillion almost," Azarov said in response to a question about the conclusion of the SPIC by a group of investors.

According to "AVTOVAZ", the contract was planned to conclude on December 25, but at that time and until the end of the year information about the signing of the document did not appear.

"AvtoVAZ" on behalf of the Alliance Renault-Nissan-AVTOVAZ-Mitsubishi in late November, filed an application for special investment contract SPIC in the Ministry of Industry, with investments of more than 70 billion rubles for 10 years, said the Head of Department Denis Manturov. The application involves the development of a range of Lada, Nissan, Renault and Mitsubishi cars and modernization of capacities for their production in Russia.

According to Manturov, the total volume of manufactured and sold products during the contract period will be about 4.9 trillion rubles, while the share of exports can reach 10%. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of tax revenues from the project may exceed 132 billion rubles.

On December 25, the government of St. Petersburg and Hyundai Motor manufacturing Rus signed a special investment contract (SPIC) with investments of 16.6 billion rubles until the end of 2027.
