OREANDA-NEWS  The official meeting ceremony of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his wife Maryna Poroshenko took place on the square in front of the Residence of the President of Latvia in Riga. The presidential couple was met by President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis and his wife Iveta Vējone.

National Anthems of Ukraine and Latvia were performed. The Presidents passed by the line of warriors of the Honor Guard.

Upon completion of the ceremony, the meeting of the two Presidents started. Following the meeting, the parties will conduct negotiations in expanded format and deliver a press statement.
