OREANDA-NEWS. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced the introduction of a round-the-clock curfew in the city. Movement along the streets without special passes is prohibited, the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.

Klitschko explained that the curfew was introduced by decision of the military command. It will be valid from 20:00 March 15 to 07:00 March 17 local time.

The mayor urged the people of Kiev to prepare to spend the specified period of time at home or go to shelter on an alarm.

Klitschko announced the introduction of a curfew in Kyiv from 22:00 to 07:00 (from 23:00 to 08:00 Moscow time) on February 24. He stressed that this is a forced but necessary step in the current conditions of martial law. The mayor advised the townspeople to leave their homes as little as possible, and when going out into the street, to have identity documents with them.
