OREANDA-NEWS. Some 370,000 asylum-seekers have been registered in Hungary to date who may be sent back by Western-European countries on the basis of international law, the Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office told the newspaper Magyar Nemzet.

János Lázár gave the newspaper an exclusive interview as part of his campaign tour, however, the full-length interview will only be released in Tuesday’s issue. This year alone 28,000 people have come to our borders, but only 5 per cent of them claimed to be refugees, the article in Magyar Nemzet reads.

The Minister pointed out: Hungary will not leave the European Union even if the „no” votes win in the October referendum, and despite this, Brussels continues to insist on imposing the quotas on the country.
