OREANDA-NEWS. The founder of aerospace company SpaceX and electric vehicle company Tesla Elon Musk answered the call to reorient production facilities to manufacture automatic ventilating machines that help to breathe patients infected with COVID-19.

“Tesla makes cars with sophisticated hvac (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning. – Ed.) systems. SpaceX makes spacecraft with life support systems. Ventilators are not difficult, but cannot be produced instantly,” Musk explained on his Twitter page. “Which hospitals have these shortages?” he asked.

Earlier it was reported that the possibility to launch the production of automatic ventilating machines is considering by the management of American major automakers General Motors and Ford.
