OREANDA-NEWS. It is expected that the European Union will not include Russia in the list of countries outside the community with which the member countries can open borders. This was reported to TASS news agency by a source in the delegation of one of the alliance countries to the EU Council. Journalists’ interlocutor clarified that statistics data says that it is too early to open borders.

The new “white list” will be published by Brussels in the coming days, and its next revision is scheduled for mid-August.

Since July 1, the European Union has opened borders for residents of 15 states. Russia and the USA were not included in the list. It was noted that the list would be reviewed every two weeks. On July 14, Montenegro and Serbia were excluded from it due to an unfavourable epidemiological situation in these countries.
