OREANDA-NEWS  The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, spoke on Telegram about a personal meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

"The Head of State was interested in the socio-economic situation in the Chechen Republic, plans for the development of the region for 2024. I reported to him on the most important areas of development of the republic that require the attention and participation of the federal center, on investment projects. As always, Vladimir Vladimirovich did not ignore a single issue," he wrote.

Kadyrov stressed that each such meeting "takes place with the full immersion of our president in the processes inside the Chechen Republic and ends with the adoption of balanced and thoughtful decisions." He added that he reported to Putin on the combat condition of Chechen units performing tasks in the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine.

"Vladimir Vladimirovich highly appreciated the achievements of the Chechen fighters and their contribution to the course of the special military operation and asked to convey to them words of gratitude, sincere congratulations and best wishes on Defender of the Fatherland Day," Kadyrov said, noting that the president's sensitive attention causes him respect and a sense of pride for the country.

Earlier, Kadyrov said that the Russian Special Forces University located in Gudermes was named after Putin.
