OREANDA-NEWS   French President Emmanuel Macron will hold a meeting with some European leaders and government representatives early next week. According to Reuters, it is planned to discuss the increase in aid to Ukraine.

The event is scheduled for February 26. The meeting, held two years after the start of the Ukrainian conflict, will discuss the intensification of cooperation between the countries on this issue.

The French leader wants to make it clear to Russia that Europe is not tired of supporting Ukraine, the agency emphasizes, citing a statement from the Elysee Palace.

Earlier, Ukraine wanted to sign a security agreement with the United States before the NATO summit. The anniversary event itself is scheduled for July 2024. Kiev's attention is currently focused on the vote of the United States Congress for the aid package.
