OREANDA-NEWS   The UK lifted sanctions against businessman Oleg Tinkov.

As stated in the notification of OFSI, the agency responsible for sanctions enforcement, since July 20, the freezing of assets and the ban on the provision of trust services have been lifted from Tinkov.

This is the second case of withdrawal from the Russian segment of the British sanctions list in July. Since July 6, sanctions have been lifted from Lev Khasis, who was the first deputy chairman of Sberbank until February 2022, and then, like Tinkov, left the Russian Federation.

Tinkov's largest asset in Russia was an indirect stake in the Tinkoff bank he founded. In April 2022, he sold his stake in the bank's holding structure, TCS Group, to Vladimir Potanin's Interros. In October of the same year, the entrepreneur announced the renunciation of Russian citizenship.
