OREANDA-NEWS. Actor Vladimir Zelensky, who collected the most votes in the first round of the Ukrainian presidential election, agreed to debate with the current head of state, Petro Poroshenko, by proposing the Olympic Stadium in Kiev as a platform.

He also put forward several conditions to the incumbent president: the debate must go "before the people of Ukraine", all channels will have the right to broadcast them live, and all journalists will have the right to be present. In addition, Zelensky demanded that each of the candidates must "necessarily pass a medical examination and prove to the people that there are no alcoholics or drug addicts among them".

The actor stressed that Poroshenko should publicly announce that he will have a debate "not with a Kremlin puppet or Kolomoisky, not with a padded jacket, not with Little Russia, not with cattle, not with a clown, but with presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky".

To make a decision, Zelensky Poroshenko gave 24 hours. In Facebook, the actor’s campaign is running a timer that counts down this time.

The "Olympic" press service after the statement by Zelensky released a message in which she emphasized that the debate proposal was an initiative of the presidential candidate: it was not discussed with the "Olympic" leadership and was not consistent with the schedule of events at the stadium.

The capacity of the Kiev "Olympic", according to data on its website, is just over 70,000 people.
