OREANDA-NEWS. On May 20, 2008, the Prime Minister of Georgia Vladimer Gurgenidze traveled to Kakheti region. Within the framework of the My First Computer Program, distinguished students of the village of Vachnadziani were delivered personal computers.

Later on, Vladimer Gurgenidze arrived in Telavi and opened the business forum. According to his assessment: “This business forum is similar to those forums which had already been held in Kutaisi, Batumi and other regions of Georgia. The Georgian as well as foreign enterprisers always manifest great interest to such forums. Kakheti has a great potential, especially from the point of view of wine production which is at the vanguard of Georgia’s economy, although it should be noted that other fields of agriculture are also developing which is very important too”, the prime minister stated.
