OREANDA-NEWS. "The mortgage market can be a bit  shaken up by a decline of the level of rates for mortgage credits," the deputy head of the mortgage crediting department of Kiev bank "Rodovid" Alexander Kozlenko surmised. According to him, till the end of 2007, it is possible that the middle interest rates on mortgage credits would go down, but no more than 0.1-0.2% for foreign currency credits and 0.5-1% for UAH. Arising necessity for banks to shake up the the mortgage crediting market a bit can reflect a decline of interest rates, which rate of growth has considerably halted in connection with long stagnation on the real estate market. "And it directly influences  the achievement of the determined aims and planned profit margin," Alexander Kozlenko noted in the press-release of bank "Rodovid".
