The International Aluminium Institute informed that the world reserves of crude aluminium in September 2006 made 1 million 600 thousand tons, from which in Africa - 80 thousand tons, in Northern America - 448 thousand tons, in Latin America - 133 thousand tons, in Asia - 256 thousand tons, in the Europe - 573 thousand tons, in Oceania - 110 thousand tons.

World reserves of aluminium, including crude metal, made 2 million 886 thousand tons in September 2006, from which 104 thousand tons in Africa, 854 thousand tons in Northern America, 224 thousand tons in Latin America, 366 thousand tons in Asia, 1 million 207 thousand tons in the Europe and 131 thousand tons in Oceania.

According to the specified data, in August 2006, world reserves of aluminium, including crude metal, made 2 million 927 thousand tons.
