OREANDA-NEWS  Brand Finance consulting company, which evaluates the value of brands, presented an annual rating of the most expensive brands in the world. In total, it included 500 brands.

The list was topped by Amazon. Over the past year, the brand of this company, according to the authors of the rating, rose by 24.6%, from $150.8 billion to $187.9 billion last year, the online retailer for the first time topped the Brand Finance rating.

In addition to Amazon in the top 10 list includes five technology companies. Apple's brand, like the previous two years, is in second place. Its value over the past year increased slightly – by 5%, from $146.3 billion to $153.6 billion, estimated Brand Finance. A year earlier, she estimated that the Apple brand has risen by 37%.

In third place ranking Google. According to Brand Finance, the value of this brand increased by 18.1%, from $ 120.9 billion to $142.7 billion in 2017. The company headed the rating of the most expensive brands in the world, but since last year it occupies the third place. The top 10 also included Microsoft (estimated cost - $119.6 billion), Samsung ($91.3 billion), telecommunications group AT&T ($87 billion), Facebook ($83.2 billion), Chinese banking group ICBC ($79.8 billion) and telecommunications group Verizon ($71.15 billion), China Construction Bank ($69.7 billion).

From the top ten for the year dropped out Walmart brand-the company took 11th place.

Of Russian brands in the list included Sberbank (down from 129 to 139-th place), "Gazprom" (up from 315 to 242-e a place), "LUKOIL" (up from 363 to 356-e a place).

In addition, Brand Finance for the first time made a rating of the most successful executives. The new rating shows "how good they are as brand managers," the company explained. The only Russian top Manager included in this rating was the President of Sberbank German Gref.  It is on the 69th line of the rating.
