OREANDA-NEWSThe surplus of the federal budget of the Russian Federation for January - September 2019 amounted to 3.8% of GDP or 2.986 trillion rubles. This is stated in a message on the website of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

Budget revenues for the reporting period amounted to 15.034 trillion rubles, of which oil and gas - 6.008 trillion rubles, non-oil and gas - 9.026 trillion rubles. Costs for the same period amounted to 12.048 trillion rubles. Thus, the surplus reached 2.986 trillion rubles.

Traditionally, the largest expense items were social policy - 3.6 trillion rubles, national defense - 2.086 trillion rubles, national security and law enforcement - 1.340 trillion rubles. The 2019 budget law predicts a surplus of 1.7% of GDP. The materials for the budget for 2020-2022 contain a forecast for budget execution in 2019 with a surplus of 0.6% of GDP.

In addition, the Russian stock exchange is on the rise. The index at the opening of trading increased compared with the previous session closing level by 0.13% and amounted to 2725.05 points.
