OREANDA-NEWS South Korean authorities refused to allow 16 Russian citizens into the country, reported by TASS with reference to the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Korea.

As noted, the reason for this was that the Russians could not confirm the purpose of their arrival.

It clarifies that during the passage of border control, the Russians could not convince that they arrived in the country for tourist purposes.

As a result, they were denied entry on the basis of the eighth article of the Agreement between Russia and South Korea on the mutual abolition of visa requirements.

Earlier it was reported that 14 Russians were not allowed into Mexico.
