OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2016. The population of Sainte-Justine will soon be able to benefit from improved recreational infrastructure thanks to funding from the Government of Canada to two organizations in the municipality.

The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, today announced that ?uvre des loisirs de Sainte-Justine has been granted \\$18,525 in financial assistance for the addition of a children’s play structure to a local sports ground, while Club Optimiste Sainte-Justine-Langevin Inc. will receive \\$21,500 for the renovation of a tennis court it has been maintaining for nearly 30 years.  

Local stakeholders have long been asking for concrete, sustainable measures to improve community and recreational infrastructure. The Government of Canada is proud to invest in projects that, like the ones being carried out by these two Sainte-Justine community organizations, contribute to the strength and vitality of all regions of the country.

The non-repayable contributions awarded through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (CIP 150) will serve to renovate the tennis court and upgrade the existing park with the installation of a play structure.
