OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 November 2016, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Palestine, where he will hold talks with Palestine’s President Mahmoud Abbas, and visit cultural and educational institutions built with Russia’s participation.

Mr Medvedev’s trip to Palestine and upcoming meetings with its leadership will be an opportunity to reaffirm their common approaches to the current issues of the bilateral agenda, including the implementation of agreements reached in March 2016 during the first meeting of the Russia-Palestine Intergovernmental Commission of Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Mr Medvedev and Mr Abbas will also exchange opinions on the current situation in the Middle East.

Following the talks, a series of bilateral intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements and documents will be signed.
