OREANDA-NEWS The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) should spare no efforts to ensure the security of the state border, an effective fight against smuggling and high-quality service for citizens and the Government, for its part, is committed to provide maximum support in order to achieve the said goals. "I would very much like the" New Face of the Border "program to be developed in the future in order to ensure that both guests of the country and Ukrainian citizens feel respect and normal attitude from the Border Guard Service," the Prime Minister urged.

In a separate statement Volodymyr Groysman noted the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will back positive changes in the work of the border guards by means of technical re-equipment of border crossing points, increasing budget funding of the SBGS as well as through the implementation of related projects, in particular the construction of roads and infrastructure at the borders.
