According to her, the attack took place on July 21 at 22:30 local time (19:30 UTC), the Azerbaijani military suffered losses. “Units of the Armenian Armed Forces repulsed the attack of the enemy, inflicting significant losses on him. According to preliminary data, the enemy’s special units, in addition to losses, have servicemen remaining in the trap. The Armenian side has no losses,” Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.

At the same time, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denies new attacks and losses. The agency calls the reports from Yerevan disinformation. “There is peace on our section of the state border, we have no losses. However, from the other side of the border, there is panic among the Armenian military personnel. Earlier, we heard shots from small arms at the positions of the Armenian Armed Forces. Apparently, one more shootout took place between the Armenian servicemen,” head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Vagif Dargahli, said.

The fighting on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan began on July 12. The opposing sides accuse each other of aggression.
