OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister Pavel Filip will participate in a meeting of the heads of the government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, due in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on 6-7 June. Attending the event will be the prime ministers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, as well as the deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine’s ambassador and the head of the CIS Executive Committee, Sergey Lebedev.  

The summit will tackle a wide range of subjects on strengthening the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the member states of the Commonwealth in the political, commercial, economic, agricultural, health, education, transport, entrepreneurship, research and innovation sectors.  

In Bishkek, Pavel Filip will also have bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the CIS member states; he will meet the Kyrgyz president and will take part in meetings of the council of heads of government in limited and enlarged formats, due to be followed by the signing of documents on sectoral cooperation.
