OREANDA-NEWS. On Thursday, June 9, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has held a meeting with the Supervisory Board, Yalta European Strategy (YES). The sides have discussed the issues of the Government's activity as to carrying out reforms in Ukraine, the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements and the prolongation of sanctions against Russia.

"Yalta European Strategy is a good platform for debate, quite interesting and efficient, as well as a very good tradition and a very necessary meeting for our country. But today it is very symbolic, because we all want one of the next meetings to take place in Yalta," said Volodymyr Groysman.

The Prime Minister thanked the YES Supervisory Board for the effort "to fill the content of these meetings."

The Prime Minister briefed his interlocutors that the Government approved the Plan of priority actions by the end of 2016. "Our main task is macroeconomic stability," he pointed out.

One of the strategic priorities of the Government Volodymyr Groysman called European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as further cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. The Government focuses on the completion of the ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement as well as visa liberalization with the EU for Ukraine. Volodymyr Groysman emphasized that Ukraine met all the requirements of the Action Plan to liberalize the EU visa regime. "This is not just about the authorities but Ukrainian citizens," he highlighted.
