OREANDA-NEWS. The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved an inter-sectoral strategy of developing parental abilities and competences, due to be implemented in 2016-2020.  

The document represents a unified vision on the need to form and develop parental abilities through the light of creating public and private services, both to enhance the competences of parents, legal representatives or the person who takes care of the child and to form parental abilities of young people.  

The strategy is aimed at ensuring a proper family environment for children and a friendly one for developing personal and professional competences and abilities. In this respect, the authorities are to develop a string of programmes and services on parental education of persons who take care of children. The measure’s goal is to back parents in being aware of the role they have to support the bringing up, educating and developing the child and offer assistance in difficulties they face.    

The implementation of the inter-sectoral strategy of developing parental abilities and competences was divided into two stages: 2016-2019 and 2020-2020.
