OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) Russia has fined Google for 100 thousand rubles for advertising on the preparation and writing of final qualifying works. About it reported in a press-Department service.

In October 2018, the state Duma adopted amendments to the law "On advertising", which has obliged search engines to delete ads about writing to order diplomas, course papers and theses.

"The Committee of the Department found that while typing in the search bar of Google the phrase "thesis to book" under the search box, your ads were shown with a mark "advertising" to the following: writing a thesis | full time | <...> changes Free. Full support. 97.6% of successful defenses", — said the representative of the FAS. Commission FAS has decided that the company violated the law on advertising.
