Former Director of School No.1 in Beslan Dies after Terrorist Attack
OREANDA-NEWS. It became known about the death of Lydia Tsalieva, who was the former headmaster of the school during the famous terrorist attack at the Beslan school in 2004.
The woman died at the age of 88. Lydia was held hostage by the school along with her students. It is known that during the seizure of the school, the woman was injured and was wounded in the leg. For about two months Lydia was treated in a hospital in Moscow. After treatment, she returned to the post of headmaster. In 2005, the woman was forced to leave for health reasons.
