OREANDA-NEWS. Glavkosmos and the German company Exolaunch have signed a contract to launch small satellites on the Soyuz-2 launch vehicle (LV) since 2020.  This is stated in the message of the Russian company, published on Wednesday.

 Terms of the deal were not disclosed.  The companies decided to continue cooperation after the successful launch of 28 small satellites from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on July 5.  Glavkosmos is the operator of the foreign economic activity of Roscosmos State Corporation.

 "Both university scientific and commercial small satellites will be included in the new cluster of small spacecraft. The cluster will include spacecraft from North America, Europe and Asia," the words of Exolaunch CEO Dmitry Bogdanov are quoted in the message.

 In late August, Glavkosmos was given the authority of the operator of foreign economic activity of the state corporation Roscosmos.
