In Tbilisi, a Man Took Ten People Hostage
OREANDA-NEWS. An unknown man armed with a firearm broke into the building of a microfinance organization located on Tsereteli Avenue in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia. This was reported by the Georgian television channel Imedi.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the offender is holding nine people hostage. So far, nothing is known about his demands the TV channel Formula adds.
The organization's office is located on the first floor of an apartment building. The police have not yet evacuated the residents. Eyewitnesses, meanwhile, report that there are several attackers. One of them is holding a hand grenade.
