OREANDA-NEWS Only Kazakhstani scientists work in the Central Reference Laboratory in Alma-Ata, built with the support of the United States, Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Mukhtar Tleuberdi told reporters on the sidelines of a government meeting, reports Nur.kz.

"This laboratory has been fully transferred to the Government of Kazakhstan. Now Kazakhstan is carrying out its research and scientific developments in this laboratory, American scientists are not conducting any developments there or from other countries," he said.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic recalled that thanks to this laboratory, the Kazakh vaccine against the Qazvaq coronavirus was developed.

On March 6, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that there was evidence of the existence of laboratories in Ukraine where biological weapons components were being developed, funded by the US Pentagon. The United States had previously stated that they were trying to prevent the transfer of biological laboratories in Ukraine under the control of Russia.

Earlier it became known that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba arrived in Turkey for talks with Russia, reports "Ukraine 24" in Telegram.

Kuleba and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are due to hold talks in Turkey today.
