OREANDA-NEWS. Italian citizens of Ukrainian origin wrote a petition demanding Roman authorities to tell about the goals of the Russian military doctors who arrived in the country to fight against coronavirus.

The co-author of the document Natalya Gebrich who moved to Italy from Ukraine said that the petition reflects issues that “concern many Italians,” in her opinion. She expressed bewilderment why Russia sent military virologists to combat the disease. Gebrich believes that civilian doctors would be enough for this purpose.

In addition, Gerbich is indignant that the Russians treat the nursing homes in the city of Bergamo with “unknown substance.” She also complained about the “boorish” attitude of some Russians.
