OREANDA-NEWS. The American corporation Microsoft has offered to provide free access for at least six months to a number of its services for government agencies in Russia, as well as organizations working in the sphere of medicine and education to combat coronavirus infection.

This was reported on May 15 by the newspaper Kommersant with reference to the corporation’s proposals sent to the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia. According to the publication, among the offered products there are cloud services for organizing remote work and sharing, cyber security services, predictive analytics applications on the situation with the spread of a virus, as well as solutions for medical institutions and intelligent robots.

As Microsoft representatives explained, the company is actively working with governments, public organizations and companies around the world, including Russia, and is taking practical measures to help to deal with the consequences of the pandemic.
